GENERAL INFO FOR WINE MAKING WORKSHOPS
All wines made in our Wine Making Workshops are made from kits, which will make 24-30 (750 ml) bottles of wine depending on the type of kit/brand you purchase. We request you do a minimum of 2 wine kits per wine group with a maximum of 10 kits per group. Multiple people can share one kit and split the finished product. We recommend purchasing your wine kits from Label Peelers near Kent, Ohio. They are a good supplier, have great prices, and fast 2-3 day shipping (no need for expedited shipping).

For general understanding, sweet wine typically costs less (about $65-70 per kit) and they are ready to drink right away after bottling; whereas, dry wine (cost $85-200 per kit) will take a couple extra weeks before they're ready to bottle, and they must age before they're ready to drink (3-18 months depending on the wine). If you're unsure about what type of wine to make, we suggest doing a Wine Tasting.
In addition to your wine kit, you will need 4 gallons of bottled "drinking" water (not distilled), 24 - 750ml clean unlabeled wine bottles, shrink caps, and corks. I can provide all of these items and invoice you. For Step One and Step Four, I recommend bringing a snack to share while we work and socialize. You can bring your own drinks or select something from our wine cellar.
